Mercedes-Benz Canada is recalling 27 S-Class sedans from the 2011 model year because the flange that attaches the fuel filter to the tank could eventually develop a crack and allow fuel to leak.
In the presence of an external ignition source, this could result in a fire.
Affected owners are advised to take their S-Class to a Mercedes-Benz dealer to have the fuel filter inspected and, if necessary, replaced.
